Super 8 by Wyndham Pekin/Peoria Area

I have stayed in a lot of hotel/motels. This Super 8 is the best one that I have stayed in. It is clean throughout which is rare This day and age. The service was excellent and the owners are hrad working people. The grounds are kept up. The breakfast is modest, but more than adequate.

I stayed two nights it was quiet. I suggest not being in room 101 because every time the door shuts it bangs against the wall, but I was in 103 was nice and clean. Everything works. They came and they fixed my remote for the TV very helpful. And the couple at the front desk were very nice and very helpful

Motel was decent we paid $55 a night it was clean ; bed was comfortable. The front desk couple was nice. No actual breakfast besides some yogurt and packaged donuts but with the food options in close proximity there was no reason to eat there. Their coffee was actually pretty decent. The only complaint I had was we stayed in room 109 and the tv was terrible. It had lines going through it and you couldn’t see the picture that great. The only other thing was I was traveling with my Parents so it would have been nice to have their room adjoining to ours rather then having to walk down the hall when they needed something. Next time I would ask because I didn’t even think to inquire about that . I would stay here again and swim the next time I slide through Pekin.

Room was quiet and clean. Allowed my cat. Polite staff. Decent linens and beds. Simple continental breakfast though I find this place great for longer stays and I purchase food locally at one of the many close places and utilize the in-room mini-fridge with freezer and microwave. HBO and cable.

I am very happy with this Super 8! I stay here regularly. Seems owned s and operated by husband/wife team. The female is very friendly and makes me feel as though she is giving me a special room when I check in. The room is clean and I’ve never had an issue with anything. Lost star is because I cannot get the internet to cooperate. I know there’s a password, but my computer never offers me the chance to put it in. It just spins until I give up and use my hotspot. The breakfast is half than stellar. Just quick bites and side snacks. It does not offer an hot option nor is there much of a selection. And if the television system could be upgraded to a smart system, without the cable guide and getting streaming I would be in heaven. Besides the luxuries of the 21st century, I feel comfortable, safe, clean, taken care of, and appreciated for each stay. Cost is affordable as well. I’ll return on the regular.

I loved having 3 beds since we have 3 kids. Thr bathtub was very slippery. We had to put a towel in there so we wouldn't fall. Clean rooms and pool was nice. It took a long time for air to cool room but it was 100 outside.

For the price you pay for the room it’s not bad. Friendly staff, clean room, and working appliances. The only thing that this hotel needs is some repair on the ceiling cause it had rust/mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Breakfast is limited to cereal and bagels but I was grateful for a free breakfast.
